Our Mission
H&S Consulting aims to empower business and organizations by enabling them to generate and strengthen revenue streams through increase enrollments and optimizing processes. We achieve this by assisting clients in effectively serving their customer base through enhancing or developing targeted up-skilling programs in high-demand occupations, thereby enabling them to have access to local and Federal grants for training.
The secondary objective of H&S Consulting is to support nonprofits and new training schools in establishing self-sustaining revenue streams by developing career and technical academies. This revenue serves as unrestricted funds to fuel organizational growth, covering administration, acquisition of essential equipment, and various programs to add to their course selections.
Our Experience
The H&S Consulting Team draws upon 25 years of accomplished experience in developing, enhancing, and managing successful State of Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Career Schools and Colleges. The leadership at H&S Consulting spearheaded the creation of Consulting Solutions.Net, which ran multi-million of trainings and for two decades was of the highest regarded TWC Career School and Colleges until its acquisition by Goodwill Central Texas in 2019. Subsequently, the H&S Consulting leadership revitalized the revenue and operations of Goodwill Career & Technical Academy as an executive, achieving a remarkable turnaround of nearly $700,000 in a single year.
Leveraging this expertise, H&S Consulting established a thriving, revenue-generating business unit for one of Austin's largest non-profits, the Austin Area Urban League. Upon its launch, this initiative generated close to $500,000 in revenue within its inaugural year. The H&S Consulting team has worked with TWC schools for close to 25 years and has developed training in all major sectors.
Both the Goodwill Career and Technical Academy (http://GCTATraining.org) and the Austin Area Urban League Tech and Career Academy (https://AAUL.org/TCA) continue to operate successfully today.
