Course Description

Customer Service representatives and Administrative Assistants provide office support in a wide array of industries such as call centers, medical offices, shopping centers, law offices, small businesses. They are employed as secretaries, call center reps, sales associates, clerks, bank tellers, insurance agents, just to name a few. Some of the skills learned in this program are: principles of good custom- er service; creating value for customers; how to create customer loyalty; effective communication; how to handle a stressful situation; phone etiquette; working with office equipment; creating spread- sheets and professional documents; professionalism in the workplace; computer basics; and schedul- ing office events and meetings, in addition to many other things.

Admission Requirements

  • Individuals applying for this course are required to interview with an Academic Advisor;
  • Present proof of education (high school diploma or GED certificate)
  • Achieve a 60% score on the CSN Basic Skills Test. Passing score of 60% on the Microsoft Windows Basic Skills Test, and type 3000 NKSPH on the Data Entry Assessment Test.

144 Hours/14 Wks-Full Time

Cust Serv/Admin Asst: Tues/Thurs 6:00pm-10:00pm & every other Sat 9:00am-5:30pm
